Hot Dog and Sauerkraut Recipe
Equipment
- Chopping board
- Bread knife
- Frying pan
Ingredients
- 2 sausages of your choice (smoked, Strasbourg, Frankfurt, Toulouse, Bratwurst...)
- 2 hot dog buns
- ½ cup raw sauerkraut, drained if necessary
- 1 tbsp. cooking oil
- Sauce of your choice: mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise...
Steps
- In a hot frying pan with a drizzle of oil, cook the sausages over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes on each side.
- Put the buns under the grill of your oven for a few minutes to colour and crisp them up.
- Using a knife, open the buns, place the sausage on top, and garnish generously with sauerkraut.
- Drizzle with sauce according to taste and enjoy!
